The HYAH Live / Beò Festival 2018 will see six events delivered at National Trust Scotland sites across Highland from Monday 13th – Saturday 18th August 2018. An exciting programme of cross-arts events and activities will be curated by a team of young event coordinators and supported by Fèis Rois (as lead partner of Highland Youth Arts Hub) and NTS. HYAH Live / Beò 2018 is part of a wider programme of events to mark the Scottish Government’s Year of Young People and is being supported by the National Trust for Scotland and EventScotland.

Thursday 16th @ Inverewe Gardens, Poolewe
Friday 17th @ Hugh Miller’s Cottage, Cromarty
Saturday 18th @ Culloden Battlefield, Inverness
Photography Brief
We would like to commission a photographer to document all associated activity throughout HYAH Live / Beò Festival 2018 to provide an engaging, vibrant portfolio demonstrating the breadth of activity and participation in our events.
The photographs should be shot from a range of angles and perspectives, giving a feel of the diversity of the event, quality of artists and performances and audience participation/reaction.
Key images should include:
- Documentation of all events at all NTS sites including;
- Atmosphere shots
- Vibrant photographs of any live performances
- Workshop images, showing engagement and activity
- Capturing iconic NTS scenes with unusual/exciting activity going on around them
- Where possible documentation of the project development including;
- Team meetings and site visits capturing the young event coordinators at work
- installation of any artworks
Travel between the sites is essential. Travel and accommodation expenses provided. You must have your own camera and relevant equipment.
We welcome applications from young people under 26.
TOTAL: 7 days capture + 1 day edit = 8 days
FEE: £750
