If you are aged 16-26 and have an idea for an amazing creative project, we want to hear it so LIVE! / BEÒ! Festival  can contribute £500 towards bringing it to life!

LIVE! / BEÒ! is a new, participatory arts festival for young people in the Highlands, taking place across six National Trust for Scotland sites as part of Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018.

It all starts this Summer on the 13th of August at Brodie Castle where Creative Catalyst will give you the opportunity to pitch your idea to an audience and panel of industry professionals.

Creative Catalyst is an incredible opportunity for you to take an idea you have and make it happen! The idea for your project can be anything from creating an art piece, a film, a piece of music or putting on a gig to organising workshops. Whatever project you want to start, we want to hear about it. We want submissions from passionate and enthusiastic young individuals.

The £500 can be spent on anything that will help you to achieve your dream project. Maybe your project will require travel and accommodation that this money can help towards, it may pay for supplies, it can help you to buy food or help towards rent for a month so you can relax and focus on your passion, you may need to hire a venue or pay a fee to an artist, you can spend it on marketing to get your project heard in a newspaper and on posters, all of these things will help you to be a step forward to achieving your goal. You will also receive ongoing support from appropriate Highland Youth Arts Hub partners to help achieve your goal! You can see a full list of the HYAH partners here.

Deadline to apply:  5pm on Friday 3rd August.

Applications will be assessed by a panel who will choose 6 finalists to bring their pitch forward to present on the 13th at Brodie Castle. You will hear from us within 2 weeks of the deadline whether you have been successful. Please keep the Monday 13th of August free in your diary. If you do need to pull out please give plenty of notice so that we can contact another applicant in time to pass on your place.

To apply please download and complete the application form below. The deadline for Creative Catalyst applications is 5pm on Friday 3rd August. Applications should be emailed to Natasha Ross at .
