Join us for day of fun, free activities for all ages. Discover the stories of Glencoe hidden throughout the woodland in a brand new sound installation and settle in for a special screening of archive footage. There will be music from award-winning folk musician Mike Vass and art workshops for all the family.

The Sounds of Glencoe

10am – 5:30pm

Glencoe Woodland

Discover the sounds and stories of Glencoe hidden in the trees. Through a series of real-life interviews with local young people, this brand new sound installation explores Glencoe and the Lochaber area’s past, present & future.

This installation is outside so please wear suitable footwear and clothing.  

Printmaking Workshops

10am – 2pm

Education Room

Drop-in to our arts workshop for young people with Richard Bracken from Room 13 International. Get your hands dirty while you create artwork inspired by the Glencoe area.

Lochaber on Screen with Mike Vass

3:30pm – 5:30pm

Education Room

A special screening of archive film from around the Glencoe area will be accompanied by a live performance from award-winning folk musician Mike Vass. Including rarely seen footage from the British Library, this will be a truly unique event brought to life by one of the most creative forces on the Scottish music scene.
