Explore Culloden Battlefield like never before! Join us for surprising pop-up performances, music and more as we bring the historic site to life! See a brand new exhibition of art created by young people in the Highlands exploring what it means to be a young Highlander today and reflecting on the importance of Culloden. The fun continues into the evening with a closing party ceilidh celebrating the Year of Young People.

DANCE PERFORMANCE

10am – 6pm

Culloden Battlefield

Created in just a week long Summer residency, young dancers from Plan B and young musicians from Fèis Rois have made a moving and provocative pop-up performance piece. Catch outdoor performances throughout the day as the piece is premiered against the amazing backdrop of Culloden Battlefield.

This event takes place outside so please wear suitable footwear and clothing.  

Closing Party Ceilidh

7:30pm – 10pm

Culloden Visitor Centre

With special late night opening of the Culloden Museum, music by Fèis Rois and Calum Mackenzie Jones and dance performances by Plan B, this unique event is a chance to celebrate what it really means to be a young Highlander today.
